Reservation & Cancellation Policy

  • To schedule an appointment, please call 860-331-8451 or email radiantknotshairstudio@gmail.com. No text messages. All services are by appointment only, we do not accept walk-in customers.
  • A non-refundable Sisterlocks/MicroLocks consultation fee is charged at time of scheduling.
  • A non-refundable and non-transferable hair installation deposit of $600 is charged at time of scheduling your appointment. The remaining balance will be due the day of your appointment prior to the Sisterlocks/MicroLocks installation service.
  • To cancel or reschedule an appointment, you must call 24 hours in advance of your appointment date, please leave a message if we are unavailable; no text messages. Appointments rescheduled or cancelled without 24 hours’ notice will be charged a cancellation fee of 50% of the original service cost (this does not include installation cancellations).
  • If you are running late, please call ahead with expected time of arrival.
  • If a client expects to be more than 10 minutes late, you will be charged a late fee of $20+ upon checkout, no exceptions.
  • If a client expects to be more than 15 minutes late, we may have to reschedule your appointment. If we can accommodate you, you will be charged a late fee upon checkout, no exceptions. If we must reschedule your appointment, it will be treated as a cancellation, and you will be charged a cancellation fee of 50% of the original service cost.
  • Any client that does not call to cancel or reschedule an appointment, will be determined as a No Show. We value our customer’s time and ask that you respect our time as well.

 

Hair Appointment Preparation Requirements

  • Infectious disease control is one of my top priorities; therefore, if you have an abrasion on your scalp, please call at least 24 hours in advance to cancel or reschedule your appointment.

The following is our hair preparation policy. This policy is strictly enforced.

  • All clients receiving locking services, hair braiding, or crochet services must come with freshly washed hair and a clean scalp, the day of their appointment.
  • If a client comes to their appointment with unwashed hair; it will be treated as a last-minute cancellation and fees will be charged.
  • If time allows for a washing service, a washing service fee will be charged at checkout.

 

Studio Etiquette

  • There is no eating in the studio unless you expect to be in the studio for 5 or more hours. This does not include small snacks. If you are expected to be in the studio for 5 or more hours, you will be provided a short 15-minute break at a good time for the stylist.
  • Beverages are allowed in sealable containers only.
  • Only the client being serviced is allowed in the service area.
  • No inappropriate language while in the studio, no swearing
  • No smoking on the property
  • No FaceTime/Video calls allowed in the studio.
  • Please keep phone calls to emergencies only. If you need to step out to take a call, please keep it under 5 minutes.
  • While Radiant Knots Hair Studio allows their clients to work remotely in the studio, there are NO Conference or Video/Meeting calls allowed in the studio. NO If you unexpectedly have a change in your schedule or have a planned conference/video call or meeting planned on your hair appointment day, please call to reschedule.

 

Refunds

Since hair is the most beautiful accessory a woman can wear, Radiant Knots Hair Studio client’s satisfaction is our top priority. Our mission is to provide friendly, personalized services through teamwork with our clients. Our policies and any services rendered will be discussed along with any other concerns you may have, before and during the time of service. We expect our clients to inform us of anything they may not want or like during this time as well. Through this teamwork we ensure our clients are number one, and we strive to exceed your expectations. 

We do not offer refunds on services but will work to resolve any issues.

 All sales are final on products.
